Infogile signs up more than 1000 retailers in just one month of MogilePPR inception
New Delhi – January 14, 2008 Infogile has signed up more than a thousand retailers since the launch of its mobile application software for prepaid recharge, MogilePPR. It is noteworthy that currently MogilePPR has been launched only in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Using the state of the art mobile recharge software, users can electronically, wirelessly and securely top-up or replenish mobile subsriber's airtime's accounts in real time, without the use of expensive prepaid vouchers or scratch off cards.

"In our preliminary soft launch in December, customers found that recharging their prepaid mobile accounts via this electronic method is very quick and easy, and it is the ultimate in convenience" said Puneet Bindlish, Infogile's CEO. With various modes like GPRS,Web,WAP,simple short message service (SMS) commands on the handset, customers can top up airtime on their prepaid mobile phones – any time, any place. After the transaction is authorized and processed, the customer's mobile phones then receive an SMS message from the mobile operator confirming that the transaction is successful.
