If a client has interests in starting an offshore delivery centre (ODC) in India, primarily to delivery high quality software products in various domains like Healthcare, Finance etc. Some of the identified key considerations and goals in setting up an ODC are:

• Laying down consistent processes for development and production environments
• High Reliability, keeping in mind the 24X7 delivery requirements

Establishing an ODC would require several statutory approvals, identification of various vendors/ service providers, contract negotiations and many other time-consuming tasks.
