Hemant is a seasoned, serial entrepreneur with over 22 year experience. He has experience in building a global company, raising money, taking it public (IPO) besides structuring JV/acquisition etc.
He was CEO & co-founder of IT&T Ltd. IT&T was founded in 1990 and is listed on India’s premier stock exchanges-BSE, NSE (as Axis-IT&T).
He was instrumental in growing the company to over 600 employees from the 6-core member start-up. IT&T grew from single location in Delhi to a nation wide network. It was recognized as #1 IT Infrastructure Management Company & leading Systems/Network Integrator in India with superior customer satisfaction levels. Its service coverage was in over 50 locations with 15 branches. IT&T launched one of India’s first B2B portal-SmartsourceIT.com & then B2B Kernel- an e-marketplace platform. IT&T went public in 2000. After the internet shake-up, the company re-strategized to enter into newer businesses. It set up a Contact center business (ISO 9001 certified), which served marquee Fortune 1000 / FTSE 100 customers in US and UK markets. .
IT&T’s business assets were acquired by iGate (NASDAQ: IGTE). He joined iGate as its Executive Vice President and helped them integrate and grow the business.
After iGate , he has since being involved in mentoring, exploring other business which have included niche BPO, new opportunities in remote education, consumer internet, mobile services & Clean tech which led to the creation of Infokarma.
Before turning into an entrepreneur, he was with HCL Ltd, where he was one of their top sales performers and felicitated by its Founder & CMD, Mr. Shiv Nadar as a VIP in the company.
Hemant , a National Talent Scholar, is a Computer Sciences Engineer from BIT Mesra, Ranchi. He is also a TiE Charter member and has been featured in various Indian dailies like The Hindustan Times, Economic Times besides national TV etc.

He is co-founder of Tactica Capital, where as an investment manager at Tactica, Jagpreet handles straight equity investment opportunities which involve close interaction with the operating managers of potential investee companies. He also advises corporate management on various means of unlocking share holder value. Prior to joining Tactica, he worked with Infosys, HCL and iGATE Solutions - in multi-functional environments related to finance, marketing and systems. Institute of Technology, BHU and an MBA from M.D.I. Gurgaon with specialization in finance and marketing.

Amanjyot Johar

Aman is presently focused on investment opportunities for early stage technology companies and is based in the Silicon Valley. His varied experiences as an entrepreneur and investor position him well to identify opportunities and chart a direction for sustainable growth for early stage companies. His other interests include photography and golf. Aman holds an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University where he was recognized as a Swartz Fellow in Entrepreneurship. He graduated with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IT-BHU, India.
